KUMASI BASED Kessben FC have opened talks with their star striker Bismarck Aidan in an audacious attempt to prolong his stay at the club.
Aidan was joint top-scorer with Samuel Affum of Hearts of Oak in the just-ended 2009/10 football season.
Sources at Kessben FC told DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that Aidan's contract with Kessben FC is at its tail end.
To avoid a situation whereby one of the leading clubs in the country would snatch Aidan from their grip, Kessben FC want to give him a fresh deal even before his current contract expires.
Talks between Kessben FC and Aidan, reports suggest, seemed fruitful at least for now, with the only problem being the colossal sum being demanded by the player before putting pen on paper.
