Ghana could be taking a big leap towards the finals of the African Nations Championship – CHAN in Sudan next year as the Black Stars go into Saturday's final qualifying against Burkina Faso.
The first leg clash in Ouagadougou on Saturday could be a defining moment for the Black Stars with coach Herbert Addo looking for a positive result against the Stallions ahead of the return fixture back home in a fortnight's time.
With a second successive appearance at the competition, designed by CAF for only home-based players of its member countries in sight, Ghana's coach says a good result would go a long way in influencing the return clash.
Grouped in Zone West B where three qualifying places are assured, Ghana and five other sides - Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Niger, Burkina Faso and Togo would battle it for places.
Ghana won silver in the maiden edition of the competition last year in Ivory Coast.
