Asante Kotoko have been eliminated from Caf Champions League after losing 4-2 on penalties to Senegal's ASC Linguere on Sunday at the Ohene Djan Stadium.
The Ghanaian representatives trailing 2-0 from the first leg in Dakar managed to draw level through goals from Kabiru Imoro and goalkeeper Isaac Amoako's spot kick, sending the tie into penalty shoot-out after a 2-2 aggregate scoreline.
However, during the kicks, Isaac Amoako was not lucky as he missed his kick while Ofosu Appiah also failed to find target for the Porcupine Warriors, denying the two-time champions passage into the 1/16th stage.
