Tema Golf Captain's Prize championship scheduled for Feb. 13

Tema, Feb. 4, GNA — This year's Tema Country Golf Club Captain's Prize Championship would tee off at Tema on Saturday, February 13.
Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, General Manager of the Club who disclosed this at Tema on Thursday said the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which was open to amateur and professional golfers, would be sponsored by Mr Leonard Kwaku Okyere, Captain of the Club.
He said about 120 golfers are expected to participate in the competition which would be played in two divisions of two segments.
The General Manager said the competition which would be played in accordance with the local rules of the Tema Club, has Handicap 18 and 24 respectively as the entry requirements.
Mr Adablanu said some of the golfers expected to take part in the competition include Felix Owusu-Adjapong, immediate past President of the Club, William Asiedu-Yeboah, Alex Fiagomey, Paul Owusu-Baah and Nana Kwadwo Duku, all of Tema.
Mike Aggrey would lead the Achimota Golf team which would include Paul List, Daniel List, Matthias Dorfe, Mike Ezan, Charles Tabi, Gilbert Morgan and Daniel List.
Victoria Adjei, Lady Captain would battle club-mates Florence Etwi-Barimah, Grace Afriyie, Esther Antwi and Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong for supremacy in the Ladies category while Emos Korblah would also battle Victor Brave-Mensah, Baba Akologo and other crack golfers in the professional's category.
