Celebrated coach of the Black Satellites, , has returned to Liberty Professionals as the head coach of the team for the 2009/2010 season.

Affectionately called “Borbor”, Sellas takes over from Coach Isaac Acquaye whose contract has expired.

He has the herculean task of transforming a young Liberty team that is currently lying third on the Glo league table.

Liberty lost most of their senior players this season especially to Hearts, but they have so far proved a solid side in the 16-team league.

Coach Tetteh who has been in and out of the team because of national assignments congratulated his predecessor for doing a great job.

“Coach Acquaye has done a good job by leading the club to escape relegation last season,” he told Joy Sports.

He is expected to lead Liberty to Obuasi this weekend to face the wrath of Ashgold who were until recently leading the Glo league at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Sellas was the coach at the helm of affairs when Liberty qualified to play in their maiden premier league a decade ago.

He has coached players such as Michael Essien, Derek Boateng, Sulley Muntari, Asamoah Gyan and Michael Helegbe at club level. By Charles Nixon Yeboah
