AshantiGold have frozen the salaries midfielders David Telfer and Alhaji Sannie for their sending off in last Sunday's Glo Premier League clash against Arsenals at the Golden City Park in Berekum.
The Miners say the two players will forfeit their one month salary for their on-the-pitch misconduct which cost them the points.
The club believe this disciplinary move will serve as a deterrent to players who attract needless cards.
AshantiGold lost the match 2-1 and dropped from second place to seventh.
