Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has excelled in his first two days of training with the Italian side Bologna.
There were doubts over his fitness as he has not played competitive club matches for two years.
But the midfielder has completely put that to rest as he was put through his paces by the club's physical trainers.
In fact even though he was expected to train alone with the physical trainers for this week, his level of fitness has resulted in him joining the entire squad.
Bologna coaches are said to be very satiafied with his fitness and he has topped that up with his exquisite passing in training.
They were keen to use him this weekend for the Serie A game agianst Palermo but red tape over work permet and ITC has delayed his debut.
He will leave the side on Monday to join the Black Stars as they prepare for the World Cup qualifier against Mali in Kumasi on 14 November.
