ADDO PAID HIS DUES AT PSV Ghana defender Eric Addo says his move to Dutch side Roda JC will help maintain his place in Black Stars ahead of next year's Nations Cup and World Cup.
The 30-year-old made his loan move permanent by agreeing a two-year deal after spending ten years at PSV Eindhoven.
His stay at PSV was characterized by injuries, limited playing time but won five league titles and featured in the Uefa Champions League.
Addo joined PSV from Clube Brugge on a five-year-deal in 1999 and claims he has done enough to part ways with the club.
"I'm very happy and look if I can't give them anything at all, I have tried to give them some championship-a lot and that's important to have some memories also there," Addo told Ghanasoccernet.com
"Look I don't want to always be in the same situation in PSV because I've been there and sometimes I have upside downs so I said look I need to play now and to move a club.
"For me it's very important now to play to get a rhythm for the national team so I decide to go there."
He added: "They know the way I know so always they try to keep me in the team but it was the moment I told them I need to leave ten years is enough."
