Agona Swedru, (C/R) June 30, GNA - Saltpond Mighty Victory fought from two goals down at half time to beat Agona Swedru Fankobaa 3-2 in their Central Region Division Two League match played at Agona Swedru.
From the blast of the whistle, it was Fankobaa who went ahead to score two quick goals through Eric Acquah and Kweku Sam in the 5th and 6th minutes respectively.
On resumption of the second half, Mighty Victory took absolute control of the game and levelled up the scores in the 65th and 70th minutes through John Mensah and Musah Mohammed.
The game from then became balanced and when all things was pointing to a drawn game, Mohammed capitalized on a defensive blunder by the Fankobaa lads to score the winner to bring the full time scores to 3-2 in favour of Mighty Victory.
Results of other League matches were, Abreshia F/C spanked Bronyibima F/C 2-0, Nsamka F/C beat Jukwa Surowi 3-2 with Galaxy F/C also beating Kampsite 2-1.
