Revelations from Happy FM, an Accra-based radio station, suggest that all is set for the third edition of the “Happy FM Keep Fit 3”, scheduled for this Saturday at the El-Wak Stadium.
According to the event coordinator, Mr. Daniel Clark, 50 Keep Fit Clubs with each parading an some 70 members will battle for honours in events like 4X100metres, 100metres, sack race, tug-of-war, lime and spoon race, 'jama' competition among others.
The Clubs will converge at the Aviation Social Centre as early as 6.am, and will embark on a walk through Airport, AFGO, the Opeibea House and will end at the El-Wak Stadium.
Mr. Clark revealed that the exercise, will among other things promote healthy lifestyle, oneness among the clubs as well as to commemorate Ghana's Republic Day which falls on July 1.
The program is being sponsored by Long Horn energy drink, Nestle Ghana Ltd. and Villa Garden restaurant.
