SOUTH AMERICAN giants Paraguay are on the heels of the senior national team, the Black Stars for a possible friendly encounter.
The Paraguayans have expressed great desire to test their might against Ghana on November 19, 2008, which has been sanctioned on the FIFA calendar for international friendlies across the globe.
The splendid performances of the Black Stars, especially Ghana's marvelous display against Brazil at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, is said to be the main driving force behind Paraguay's yearning to engage the West Africans.
A source who hinted this to DAILY GUIDE SPORTS indicated that the Paraguayan FA has already contacted their counterparts in Ghana for the game, but could not say whether the four-time African Champions would accept the challenge.
He could not also disclose the venue for the game but stated that Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra was among the possibles.
Meanwhile, reports reaching DAILY GUIDE SPORTS suggest that the Black Stars are also on the radar of the Oman national team for a friendly duel on the same date, November 19, 2008.
Just as the Paraguayans, the Oman FA is reported to have approached the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the clash.
