Ghanaian striker,Isaac Boakye,scored a debut goal for Nürnberg in their 2-1 win Bundesliga II season opener against FC Augsburg on Saturday.
He opened the scoring after 22 minutes and Pinola made it two in 52th minute before Augsburg got a consolation two minutes later.
The 26-year-old joined Nürnberg on a two-year deal from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg after being declared surplus to requirements by the club.
Boakye has struggled for form since leaving Armenia Bielefeld in 2006 where he scored 24 goals in 61 matches before joining Wolfsburg.
He played in the second-tier league last term with Mainz 05 which narrowly missed out on promotion to the top flight league.
