5 for MTN/Metro TV Reality Show final

  Wed, 31 Oct 2007

Five team-mates for the MTN/Metro TV final Reality Show have been retained after last Sunday's penultimate eviction which saw Raphael Rasheed Inusah leaving the Academy House.

The lucky team-mates are Bismark Amponsah, Collins Akowuah, Gideon Baah, Kwame Oti Ompong and Munir Zaid, who will vie for the top prize in a multi-talent show at the Academy House in Accra on November 10.

At stake is a brand new Hyundai saloon car plus a cash of GH¢5,000 (¢50 million) and an opportunity to undergo training sessions in the camp of one of the three English Premiership clubs — Chelsea, Manchester United or Liverpool as well as watch the 2010 world Cup in South Africa.

As usual, last Sunday's show was laced with entertainment package provided by musicians K.K Fosu, Kwabena Kwabena and Mframa.

In the soccer match, Onetouch Premier club Liberty Professionals forced a 2-2 drawn game against the MTN Academy team-mates, who matched their senior opponents boot to boot. Their high performance earned them the Fair Play award from the coach of the Academy, Alhaji Ibrahim Sunday.

During the past week, the team-mates hosted students of Accra Polytechnic, attended the "Sons and Daughters" play staged at the National Theatre in Accra and also visited the Ghana Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram. They also interacted with Nana Akomea, Member of Parliament and Minister of State.

Four times captain Collins Akowuah led his colleagues to present a number of food items and footballs to the Osu Children's Home in Accra.
