UCL: Real Madrid set up final with Dortmund on June 1 after seeing off Bayern

The stage is set for Real Madrid to face off with Borussia Dortmund in the finals of this season’s Uefa Champions League.

After their 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich last season, Los Blancos hosted the German giants at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium today.

The tough contest between the two European sides went down to the wire as both teams fought to secure victory.

Although Bayern Munich would score first, Real Madrid came from behind to earn a dramatic late win to make the final.

Substitute Alphonso Davies equalized in the 68^th minute to give Bayern Munich a 3-2 aggregate win after Harry Kane assisted him.

However, a brace by Real Madrid striker Joselu turned things around with the forwards goal coming in the 88^th and 90^th minutes respectively.

Courtesy of a 4-3 aggregate win, the Spanish giants managed to knock out Bayern Munich.

The final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will be played on June 1, at Wembley.

While Real Madrid will be chasing a 15^th Uefa Champions League trophy, Borussia Dortmund are after their second title.
