Match Report: Bofoakwa Tano hold Hearts of Oak to a 1-1 draw in Sogakope

The Ghana Premier League match between Hearts of Oak and Bofoakwa Tano has ended in a 1-1 draw.

The two clubs locked horns today in a Week 20 encounter of the 2023/24 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

Due to the unavailability of the Accra Sports Stadium, Hearts of Oak had to host the game at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.

Both teams played very well in the game today and managed to score to share the spoils at the end of 90 minutes.

Hearts of Oak scored first when Salifu Ibrahim equalised in the 24^th minute to take the lead into the break.

Ten minutes into the first half, Emmanuel Boateng Agyenim got his name on the scoresheet to force the match to end in a 1-1 draw at full-time.

Today's result means Hearts of Oak remains unbeaten in the second round of the Ghana Premier League season.

Things look good under new head coach Aboubakar Ouattara.

In the next round of games, Hearts of Oak will take on Dreams FC while Bofoakwa Tano will face off with Heart of Lions.
