Talented Accra Lions striker, Mohammed Yahaya put on a fine goal-scoring show on Monday afternoon to lead the team to come from behind to beat Nsoatreman FC 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.
Accra Lions today hosted Nsoatreman FC at the WAFA Park in Sogakope to contest for three points from their Week 15 fixture.
The visitors had a bright start to the clash today and scored in the first minute when Kwabena Adu Meider equalised with a tap-in on the back of a very good team move.
Although Nsoatreman FC would have other chances to increase their lead, the team could not add to their tally and only had a narrow lead at the break.
After recess, Accra Lions had to come out to work hard in a bid to turn things around.
When the team needed a hero, teenage striker Mohammed Yahaya popped up to change the game.
The forward scored a brace with goals in the 73rd and 81st minutes to inspire Accra Lions to a delightful 2-1 comeback win at the end of the 90 minutes.
The win means Accra Lions climb further away from the relegation zone of the league standings to put the challenging start to the new league season behind them.
