Aduana Stars top Ghana Premier League table after narrow win over Bechem United

Round 15 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season has kicked off today with a clash between Aduana Stars and Bechem United.

After a narrow 1-0 win for Aduana Stars at the end of the 90 minutes, the team has climbed to the top of the league standings with 27 points.

The game between the two top-flight clubs was played at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Both teams put up a very good performance in their bid to get the three points as part of the challenge to win the league title.

Thanks to a solitary strike from Bright Adjei in the 17^th minute, Aduana Stars managed to brush aside Bechem United to bag all three points.

While Aduana Stars go top of the Premier League table, Bechem United stay 4^th on the log temporarily.

If other results from games to be played in this round of the league campaign do not go in the favour of the Hunters, the side would be overtaken at the end of the matchday.

In the other matches to be played this weekend, Hearts of Oak will face off with Nations FC while Asante Kotoko take on Gold Stars.
