Nations Football Club have been welcomed to the Ghana Premier League by Dreams FC.
The Dawu-based club on Wednesday afternoon hosted the newly-promoted club at the Theatre of Dreams.
In the Round 1 encounter of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, Nations Football club generally played well but failed to score.
Courtesy of a strike from Ebenezer Adade in the 8th minute of the first half, Dreams Football Club managed to cruise to a narrow 1-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes to earn all three points.
Nations Football Club would be proud of the performance in their first match of the league today but must work harder and improve ahead of upcoming games.
Up next for Nations FC, the team will face off with Samartex FC on Sunday, September 24.
That game will kick off at 3 p.m. at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
