We Have One Atiwa District: The Appointment Of Atiwa DCE Must Be Based On Vision And Competence

The attention of the Atiwa Youth Association has been drawn to a divisive statement issued by a ghost group calling itself Coalition Of Concerned Youth and Eminent People of Atiwa calling for the appointment of the Atiwa DCE from the Atiwa East constituency.

Atiwa Youth Association is entreating the general public to disregard that statement. It is a calculated effort by the opponents to the NPP government to raise unnecessary tension in the district.

To dissect the name of the group "Eminent People" - who constitute the Eminent People and who are the inferiors?

Why is there no signatory to the statement if the group is credible?

The name of the group is insulting to the people of Atiwa. The argument made the invisible group is absolute needless. Atiwa is One united District and no matter where the DCE will be appointed from, what matters are his visions and the competence.

The Atiwa District is bedeviled with countless challenges which need a generational thinker to help solve them.

Also, the statement by the ghost group seeks to deceive the general public on revenue mobilization in the district. They claimed that the greatest percentage of the revenue from the district comes from the East. This is factually inaccurate.

The Atiwa Youth Association is appealing to H. E. Nana Akufo-Addo, our MPs, Constituency Executives, Chiefs, Assembly Members, interest groups and other decision making groups in the district to do the district good by appointing a visionary-competent being to manage the affairs of the district.

Atiwa District deserves better!!
