Drama unfolded when a thief allegedly stole the mobile phone of the MC for this year’s Gargajiya Festival, which was attended by President John Mahama and other top government officials at the Jubilee Park on Sunday afternoon.
The attendants, including President Mahama, were stunned when the MC suddenly announced the supposed theft of his mobile phone.
The unidentified MC was seen shivering and sweating, as he announced the sudden disappearance of his phone.
He was heard appealing passionately to the supposed thief to return the phone in the name of Allah.
According to the distressed MC, he was prepared to give money to the thief in return for his mobile phone.
The MC, who struggled to breath, stated that the mobile phone contained his vital information.
He then moved to the dais to talk to some of the dignitaries.
It is not clear if the influential people promised to replace the mobile phone of the MC, who was dazed.
Some minutes later, the MC made a sharp U-turn and announced that he had discovered the stolen mobile phone.
