Use the media to promote cohesion - Nana Nketsia V

Tanokrom (W/R), July 24, GNA - Nana Kobina Nketsia V, Omanhene of the Essikado Traditional, has called on the media to communicate positive virtues and promote social cohesion.

He said media's freedom was very important and using that freedom in a well-coordinated manner was key to the very survival of the country.

Nana Kobina Nketsia V said 'I call you the consciousness industry, largely because your activities have profound effects on the minds of the people'.

The Paramount Chief was speaking at the official launch of 'Connect fm' a member of the MG Radio Limited at Tanokrom in the Western Region.

He urged the station owners to ensure that their contents reflect the cosmopolitan nature of the people.
