The NDC UK & Ireland Chapter have been monitoring with keen interest the limited registration exercise taking place across the length and breadth of the nation. We are unhappy about few skirmishes that have taken place especially in the Eastern and Ashanti regions, It is against this background that we wish to appeal to all Ghanaians to support the EC to conduct an incident free limited registration exercise.
We condemn any act of violence and intimidation to frustrate bonafide Ghanaians from registering. All Ghanaians irrespective of their tribe, religion or social standing should be allowed to register anywhere in the country as long as they qualify to do so.
To our gallant security officials especially the police service, we commend you for the good work done so far and wish to encourage you to step up your game to ensure that lawlessness are dealt with swiftly and promptly to ensure safer Ghana during and after the registration.
