Accra, Feb. 9, GNA - The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) is organizing a five-day training course for national keep fit instructors to upgrade their standard and fitness at the National Sports College, Winneba.
The five-day event, which started on Monday and scheduled to end on Friday, attracted about 40 instructors across Ashanti, Central and Western Regions.
This is in line with the aims of the GOC to continually build the capacity of local coaches and qualified health instructors.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the president of the GOC, Prof. Francis Dodoo said his outfit also seeks to ensure the physical well-being of the instructors.
He said the GOC will continually look for other avenues to promote the physique of the trainers and was ready to impart knowledge to them.sai'Sports for All' is unique because reaching them enables the a good number of
