Producers Of ATV's "Asem Yi Di Ka" Show Debunk Report By Myjoyonline.com

Producers of the most popular current affairs news talk show "Asem Yi Di Ka" at the 2015 Ghana Television Awards which airs on Amansan Television (ATV) from Monday-Friday at 3PM-5PM have debunked report by myjoyonline.com with regards to organizing a press conference in Nkronza as reported in a publication titled "Nkoranza North DCE chased out of press conference".

According to the production team, the show which seeks to discuss and address national issues which includes economical challenges is on a regional tour to fulfill a promise made to viewers in hosting the show in each regional capital to offer them an opportunity to share their challenges and economical grievances to leaders of this country.

Quoting the second paragraph of a story posted on the 5th of January 2016, "The DCE was at a press conference organized by ATV to sympathize and a find solution to their concerns, but confusion broke out when the DCE attempted to address the gathering", the producer Nana Tufuor said Joy News' Brong Ahafo Region Correspondent Sabit Anas did not get his facts right and that is misinformation on on his part as a journalist.

He further explained that the DKM and other microfinance saga is a topical issue in the region and the crowed flooded in to share their grievances on the "Asem Yi Di Ka" show. He said ATV did not go to the region to sympathize with frustrated customers or organize any press conference as reported by Myjoyonline.com.

"ATV is not in Nkronza to sympathize with anybody. We are only touring the regions in the country and Brong Ahafo happens to be our first stop so the crowed flooded the venue when "Asem Yi Di Ka" show arrived in Nkronza to share their pain and concerns with the leaders of this country and workers of Bank of Ghana. The reporter didn't get his facts right" he explained.
