A book that documents the daily struggles of life in Africa through poetry has been launched in Accra.

Authored by Kwabena Nyameba Bediako, the 117 page book “Believe in Africa’ tells the story of making it big in Africa.

Reviewing the book himself at the launch in Accra, Kwabena Bediako said the book is the sum of the past, present and future.

He revealed that the book was inspired by an observation on the impact made by the right people in leadership positions - people who wholly subscribe to servant leadership rather than self-serving leadership.

“This is a book that pertains with spirituality, motivation, political future of Africa. It book is priceless and eternal, we will be dead and gone and it will still bring changes” he stated.

Mr. Bediako revealed that the book will be translated into various languages across the globe for them to have a feel and appreciate the African story.

Drawing from his own experience and further observations Nyameba believes that change can be brought about by a "few good people", who are focused and passionate about the advancement of the African continent.

“This is a book that motivates, transforms, informs and educates and makes us realise what we had that we never knew we had” he added.

The book can be found at Legon book shop in Accra and selected bookstores across the country.
