NOV 26, 2015 LISTEN

The fourth edition of Multi TV Habitat Fair will take place at the Golden Tulip-Kumasi City from November 27-29, 2015.

The fair is aimed at bringing technocrats in the housing sector together to help solve the housing needs of Ghanaians.

Stephen Essoun, Event Coordinator for the MultiTV HFC Habitat Fair, in a statement, disclosed that the three-day fair will be opened by Anarfi Mensah, Ashanti Regional Minister, the guest speaker.

Commenting on the fair, Santokh Singh, Managing Director of MultiTV said; 'The call for value addition and proper enforcement of policies in property acquisition from the housing fraternity has never been greater.

'It is a fact that through proper education and partnership with the government in similar fairs, Ghana's housing deficit will be a thing of the past.

General Manager Mortgage and Technology at HFC Bank, the headline sponsor, said spending less than between 30 percent and 35 percent on housing was an indication of affordability in the housing sector.

'The bank has been able to reach out to public sector employees, who have been able to own homes for less than GH¢60,000. Mortgage packages are part of the bank's effort at providing homes for Ghanaians.'

The fair is free for all and there would be an exhibition.

Companies or individuals that would take part in the exhibition would pay GH¢6,000 or more depending on the package they will select.
