The member of parliament for the Tamale Central Constituency, Hon. Inusah Fuseini yesterday paid a courtesy call on some traditional and religious leaders within the Tamale Central Constituency.

The legislator who was overwhelmingly endorsed the previous day (Saturday) in the parliamentary primaries of the NDC extended this solemn gesture to the leaders in recognition of their contribution in ensuring that the NDC executed a peaceful and incident free election in and around the Metropolis and the region at large.

The Member of Parliament's first point of call was the traditional leaders of Tishigu, where the he hails from. The traditional leaders prayed for him for wining the loyalty and trust of the people through his visionary leadership, as well as appreciating the role of the traditional leaders in his quest to develop the constituency.

The next stop was the Dakpema Chief palace where the Hon. Inusah Fuseini interacted with the chief and his elders. The chief, who was full of joy recounted the enormous contribution of Hon. Inusah in making his recent pilgrimage a successful one, and further urged him to continue doing the good works that has brought him this far.

Hon.Inusah Fuseini also visited the Lamashegu palace, a traditional area where the he holds a chieftaincy title (Mali-Zaa Naa). The chief couldn't hide his joy in seeing his sub-chief been retained as the parliamentary candidate of the urban constituency in the region and called on the people to support him in his transformational agenda that has seen Tamale Central become a shining example to other constituencies.

The Religious leader of the AMBARIYA MUSLIM MISSION, Sheikh Sa-eed Zakaria Abubakar was next on the bill. The revered Islamic scholar took time to share some verses of the holy Quran with the jubilant entourage of the Member of Parliament, and admonished the youth not to allow politics to divide them. 'Islam is the most strongest variable that has united us more than any other', he added. Sheikh Sa'eed also called on the winner and all those who contested with him to exercise patience and glorify the will of Allah, for he (Allah) is the most powerful and whatever he wills shall not be impeded by any other.

Hon. Inusah Fuseini also made a brief stop at the GUKPEGU CHIEF'S PALACE, BUG-LANA'S PALACE, CHANGLI CHIEF'S PALACE, MASJIDUL BAYAAN, ZAG-MIGU (REGIONAL MOSQUE) and a host of other leaders in the constituency.
