She said her Ministry was now branding and positioning Ghana's tourism with culture and creative arts.

She said since the Ministry's alignment to include the culture and creative arts industry by the president in 2013, the sectors had made significant representation at all major tourism exhibitions to promote Ghana's culture.

She encouraged Ghanaians in the diaspora to imbibe the culture and traditions of the country in the youth.

"It was another stride in the "Made in Ghana" campaign since it has created job opportunities for those who weave the Kente and Fugu dresses," she added.

Madam Doris Brese, the Deputy Head of Mission said, the Kente festival was an opportunity to showcase and promote Ghana's culture and tradition to Europeans.

She entreated patrons to come with friends to educate them on the country's culture.

"Such occasion reminds us of who we are and brings us together as Ghanaians especially in the diaspora and assured them of the Embassy's support to the Ghanaian fraternity," she added.
