Akyem Tafo Traditional Authority Warns Youth Over Misconduct

Traditional authorities at Akyem Tafo has appealed to the youth of Akyem old Tafo to desist from their current misconducts that will threaten the peace of the area following the death of two sakawa boys some days ago.

Two fraud(sakawa) boys, namely, Abacha and Kwame Kpotoe from the community died in an accident at Bosuso when returning from Begoro in the fanteakwa district a week ago.

The death of the sakawa boys has resulted in the youth not obying the traditions and laws of the community.

But the chief of the area, Osaberima Adusei Peasah has expressed worry about the actions of the youth which is getting out of hand and has therefore warned to deal with anyone one who default laws of the traditional authority.

Investigations revealed that, the chief and his elders have been attacked verbally by the youth whiles some have even planned to burn down the palace and the chief's vehicles.

But the traditional authority have warned to deal with any youth whose actions causes any mayhem in the community.

Parents has been urged to adviced to counsel their children not engage in any vices that jeopadize the peace of the community.

"We expect all parents to talk to their children because anyone who will be caught in any bad act will be dealt with according to the law" the community announcer stated.
