I will not do it my way

I was sent by Yeshua, the creator of heaven and earth.

It is written, “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:20-21).

How will you have your banku and okro stew today? Will it be your way, or the highway? Hmmm. Consider that how you like your food is one thing. When it comes to prophecy however, that is another thing all together. Prophecy is the result of holiness. That means that prophecy came about because men of God were separated from the rest of the world in order to ensure their devotion to God, in speaking whatever He gave them. Therefore, if you will be a prophet, you MUST be separate from the world. This is holiness and it is what happens when the Holy Spirit is moving in your life.

Brethren, you cannot do it your way. It will not work. Serving God implies holiness. You must be separate from the world. If not, the world will taint you and make you a fool. It is written, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which NO MAN shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). How do you be at peace with ALL men and yet be separate from the world, or holy? Well, it does not come about by telling lies to please men. You will NEVER have peace with men by preaching whatever you will. That leads to hatred because it is based on lying. Therefore, teach ONLY what Yeshua (Jesus) taught you.

Holiness is this…
Holiness is being separate from worldliness. It means that you DO NOT love anything else except what God taught you: outside of His will, you do not do anything else.

In holiness, there is the blessing. The blessing places you in a path of righteousness. Anything else does not help you do the will of God. Wisdom says this, “When a man’s ways please the LORD [Yahweh], he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him” (Mishlei/Proverbs 16:7). Doing what Yahweh teaches you, although it may be irritating and very offensive to a SINFUL world, is the sure way to being at “peace” with all men. How? It is because when you do this, enemies of Mashiach (Christ), just come to a place where they LEAVE YOU ALONE. This is God’s way of “making” your enemies to be at peace with you. Other than that, they will not be at peace with you! You cannot make peace by lying to men.

Prophecy is this…
Prophecy is the declaration of the Most High! It is speaking in the future. God already knows what He will do to the wicked. He knows what He will do to the righteous. For this reason, the future is already set in stone. He will not change it. When HOLY men spoke prophecy, they were tested. How? They had to speak ONLY what God gave them. In season, many did not like them for this. The result is that many of these holy men were killed for their righteousness. How come? It because this world is filled with people who are set apart to do only what is vile and evil. Therefore if you are holy—set apart to the will of Yahweh—they will not like you! And, they may EVENTUALLY kill you!

It is written, “He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my [Yeshua’s] sake shall find it” (Matityahu/Matthew 10:39). Yeshua, Son of the living God, already made this declaration from the throne of the Most High. It is therefore a prophecy of God’s will. God knows that if you “find” your life, you will lose it. You usually find something as a result of looking for it. The prophecy therefore deals with looking for a certain kind of life: this a life of self-will in the world. In other words, you call the shots, and direct yourself accordingly. Nobody who looks for their own lifestyle will see God. Amen. But the man or woman, or child who says, “I will do the will of the Father”, thereby losing their life for the sake of Yeshua, that person will find a life of the love of God. They will therefore do the will of the Father.

It is written, “…because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).

The previous verse is a prophecy of the future. It tells of what will happen to those who do not receive LOVE OF THE TRUTH. This is obedience to Yeshua. Yeshua said, “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh to the Father but by me” (Yochanan/John 14:6). Today, obey the gospel. Obediently do what Yeshua taught you, even though it may cost you your life. Yahweh bless you. Amen (and so shall it be).
