Drinking Bar Associations In Tarkwa Donate To Tarkwa Old Government Hospital

The Drinking Bars Associations in Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality has donated items worth of GHC1,000.00 to Tarkwa Old Government Hospital.

The item included toiletry, drinks, mopping bucket and mops, bed sheet, detergent and others.

Presenting the items, the Chairman of Tarkwa Drinking Bar Association, Mr. Charles Eghan said the action was triggered by the association’s knowledge of the financial challenges of the hospital.

He said the donation is aimed at coming to the aid of the facility in the association’s own small way to keep the hospital going.

Receiving the items, Mr. Nicholas Kwateng, the Administrator for Tarkwa old Government Hospital thanked the association for the gesture and promised that the items will be put to good use.

He also appealed to corperate organizations, institutions, churches, NGOs and others to follow in the good step of the Drinking Bar Association.
