The National Coordinator of the Northerners and Zongos Concern Youth Association Ghana (NAZCYAG) Alhaji Halidu Abubakar Galaxy has expressed gratitude to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, a Multi-Millionaire and a younger brother of President John Dramani Mahama for his numerous support to the northern and Zongo Communities.

Alhaji Galaxy who made this known in an exclusive interview with the Ghana Palaver in Accra stated that it is necessary for people in the Northern and Zongo communities to celebrate a prominent personality like Mr. Ibrahim for being a help factor to the society.

He called on Mr. Ibrahim to continue with the numerous supports to the Northern and Zongo communities in the country.

According to him Mr. Ibrahim has been a role model for most youth in the Northern and Zongo communities and Ghanaians entrepreneurs at large.

He added that the communities certainly need more Ibraihim Mahamas to boost the developmental initiatives and build confidence into the youth.

He urged the people in the Northern and Zongo communities to see Mr. Ibrahim as philanthropist, businessman and a multi-millionaire rather than painting him with political party colours.

He further called on the people in the Northern and Zongos to push him higher and not to pull him down as some politicians have been anxiously trying to tarnish his image and wanted to pull him down in this country.

Alhaji Galaxy said it is the responsibility for people in the Northern and Zongos to protect his image and accept him as a brother who has the well-being of the Zongos at heart and has proven that he is capable of transforming the living standards of the Northerners and Zongos.

He revealed that Mr. Ibrahim has over the years touched the lives of many in the Zongo communities especially the youth hence the need to encourage him to continue with the good work.

Ghana has about 400 Zongo communities which have been described by many as deprived communities with high rate of poverty due to unemployment.

He said Mr. Ibraihim Mahama who is the owner of Engineers & Planners, the younger brother of the President John Dramani Mahama, a philanthropist and a multi- millionaire from the Northern and Zongo communities has therefore not neglected the people in the Zongo communities.
