Some of the beneficiaries and the items they received
The Bureau for Social Services (BSS) Ghana, a non-governmental organization, has presented assorted food items worth tens of thousands of Ghana Cedis to Muslims across the country.
The items, which included 100 bags of rice, 100 cartons of cooking oil, and 40 bags of sugar, were distributed to Muslims in five regions, namely the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Central and Eastern regions.
The donation was made possible by Hidaya Foundation of the USA, a development partner of the BSS, under its 2015 Iftar Project.
The items were presented by Sheikh Mohammed Zakaria Suleiman and Abubakar Abdul Malik, both Directors of BSS.
