Street Academy To Organize Walk On Saturday

The Street Academy of Accra will organize a Walk on Saturday to keep its members health and fit. According to Founder and Executive Director, Ataa Lartey, the students in the Academy and Patrons are eagerly waiting for the day which is now held annually.

Ataa Lartey said the theme for the 2015 edition is “Protecting Your Interest in Education, Health & Food Security”.

He noted that the Walk will take about three hours and after there will be a talk on Education and Fitness.

Ataa Lartey who was at the Accra Sports Stadium to invite sports officials to the event has invited personalities including Members of Parliament, the Mayor of Accra, Assembly Members, the Media and the general public.

He said this is an opportunity for people living around the Street Academy to contribute their love by coming around to walk and make the Walk successful.

He commended the Sports Writers Association of Ghana Ghana (SWAG) for electing Kwabena Yeboah as the new President and urged the media to support him to succeed as the current trend of Sports Management is not easy.

Ataa Lartey also appealed to companies to support sports as there are many rewards to be derived. The keen sports enthusiast

who has contributed to Ghana Boxing and Athletics said the future id very bright for Ghana Sports since there are so many talented kids who want to do sports.
