The 55th Republic Day in the history of Ghana is been marked once again. As we mark the Day in grand style today, let us all unite and push forward the agenda of helping transform Ghana into the home it has been hoped to be for all. Today is not only for having fun at the beaches, club houses, Malls, Cinemas among others but rather a day for reflecting over the birth and journey of Mother Ghana.

To our founding fathers who fought and left behind a legacy for us to emulate, I say Ayeekoo to you all for your toils and sacrifice in making Ghana (Gold Coast) a better place. To all those who in divert ways are contributing to the success of this country, I say Thank You and God replenish your efforts. It is time to arise as patriotic citizens and help in nation building. As our Anthem says, “We are All Involved in Building Our Mother Land”, let us all join hands in achieving this goal.

To the youth, I say it is time to prove your worth in national development by been hardworking and honest. Staying away from all forms of immoral vices and fighting for the ultimate good of the country.

It is an undisputed fact that the country is going through series of problems but the President alone cannot bring the needed change but together we can. Let us change our attitude and mentality as Ghanaians to help move the nation forward.

And to all those who lost their relatives and love ones during the June 3 disaster, my condolences and May God Be your strength in this trying times.

Long Live Mother Ghana!
Long Live Her Dreams!!
