Eastern University: Concerned Youth Of Afram Plains Lauds President Mahama

We the citizens of Afram Plains wish to express our profound gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama for fast tracking the preparation and passage of the university bill which will establish a university at Somanya and a campus at Donkorkrom (Afram Plains).

There is no doubt as to how this will help our people at Afram Plains to gain access to education and help promote development in the area

We believe that the passage of this bill is a sign of the president's commitment to fulfilling all his campaign promise to us before 2016 general election.

We therefore wish to use this opportunity to remind the president of the desire of the people Of Afram Plains to see to;

1. Construction of Ekye-Agordeke road.
2. Ferry on the Agordeke-Kpando Tokor stretch of the volta lake.

3. Establishment of a College of Education as promised by the president.

A fulfilment of these promises has a direct bearing on the achievement of Agenda 50-50 in the region which will result in 57% victory for JDM in 2016 general elections.
