NPP Timeless Internal Calmness Solution 15-15 In 2015 For Nana Akufo-Addo

There is no doubt in Ghanaian politics that any discerning patriotic citizen can rejoice about such a high polarization in respective political parties and more especially, that of NDC and NPP. Nana Akuffo, as the leader needs to initiate a timeless internal calmness solution for the NPP intra-party distrustful and polarized challenges, that is likely to spill off to possible inter-party scenarios.

The sudden death of Alhaji Adams, NPP U/E regional chairman, through acid bath, though water abounds, has been condemned in no uncertain terms. The office of JOY 2012 and on my own behalf condemn this barbaric act and extend again our deepest condolences and to thank the family extremely for how they've handled the crisis so far. We hope indeed justice will be served as promised by President John Mahama timely, for justice delay is justice deny, unlike the Dagbon case.

There are lots of security implications in handling this internal crisis of NPP which has a wider implications for the security of all peace loving Ghanaians. Using political tools cannot solve this problem internally for NPP as a party and security intelligence unit of the state.

Let it be on record, that until this issue got to this level, the high intelligence Unit of JOY2012 gathered that, there is a high probability of casualties starting internally from distrust in the NPP. Any strategy of political capital gain out of this crisis may not be wise for any political party and the earlier Nana Akuffo Addo and Council of Elders resorted to solution 15-15, and took pragmatic steps in curing the distrust, the better for the NPP party and Ghanaians as whole.

First Solution 15. "A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger". The wisdom from holy Bible Proverbs 15.

Nana Addo must guide and guard against the pain and emotional agitations caused by the death of Alhaji Adams. Any harsh action will stir up anger continually. Nothing on this earth will bring Alhaji Adams back and he died as a hero believing in what is best for his party NPP.

Second solution 15. Nana Addo's disposition must be the father of the Prodigal Son. Luke 15. The older son had a legitimate case for such a welcoming reception of the son. Indeed,the younger son had been reckless in dissipating the fortunes of the family.

However, The fatherly words in spite of legitimate concerns brought understanding to the older son for reunion of the family as whole. Those who are perceived to be committed to Nana Addo's leadership may have a legitimate case to politically impeach or as it were sack Kwabena Agyapong and Paul Afoko.

But this harsh action, Nana Addo must avoid at all cost. This is another form of test of great leadership. How a leader handles the highest provocative action without rocking the boat and endangering the lives. Nana Addo must pass this test, with the help of the collective minds of council of Elders, which translates itself in different scenarios and forms. The same form of provocation led to All-die-be-die mantra. Indeed nothing good nor bad could be said of approval of most members of the NPP party of Nana Addo's but a man's greatest enemy is himself.

Nana Addo must issue a statement to all party executives at all levels NOT to comment on the issue on radio and any public gathering until the council of elders meeting brings a direction. How can other political parties identify themselves to any party bedeviled with internal feudalism with casualties?

The same counsel was given to President Mahama when he assumed office in August 2012. He listened and has indeed lessens his internal problems. Internal peace within NDC and NPP can without doubt help the nation's political landscape to be more civilized.
