Condolence From The Office O The Bishop

FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDING BISHOP OF ALL NATIONS INTERNATIONAL CHURCHES AND THE SENIOR PASTOR OF EXCELLENT CHAPEL.

The Presiding Bishop of All Nations International Churches in the US, his grace Bishop George Ofori-Nyadu, has described the heinous murder of Adams Mahama as a serious threat to the democratic dispensation of Africa.

He said the desperation and division that had crept into our politics must be condemned. Sharing his view on the murder of the Upper East Regional Chairman of the NPP in his office in US with some high profile Bishops, concern Ghanaian clergy and very influential personalities in the the Ghanaian and Africa communities who called on him this weekend in his US based office in Irving Texas. He used the occasion to express his condolence to the family of our late brother as well as all his close associates.

He also admonished all those present to show their heartfelt grief over the sudden death of the NPP regional chairman. He said politics must be a platform to use to serve the nation, not to meet selfish personal ambitions. He made a highly philosophical statement as he is known for in many cycles around the world to support the need against arrogance.

“He said, society is no longer interested about what we have but rather interested about what we do with what we have”

He used the occasion to call on the Ghana police and other law enforcement agencies to as a matter of urgency, thoroughly investigate the murder of the Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in order to bring the perpetrators of this gruesome murder to book. As a son of an ex- police officer, he was optimistic that, the evil perpetrators would be apprehended and brought to book.

He stressed that effectual prayers will be made to God and also petition heaven to expose the evil perpetrators of the gruesome murder. He said Ghanaians are generally known around the world as peaceful people. According to him, this should be a united effort of every well wishing Ghanaian to strengthen and also enforce a higher pedigree of tolerance for a common purpose of moving our nation forward. They prayed that the police will find and apprehend the criminals as early as possible.
