Abokobi (GAR), May 6, GNA - Prophet Prince Kofi Okyere, President of Faith Anointing International Ministry, has called on parents to inculcate in their children the habit of reading the Bible and other religious books.
This, he said, would broaden their knowledge about Jesus Christ and his teachings, so that they would lead good moral lives.
Prophet Okyere made the call at the launch of 'Children's Day' celebration at Abokobi-Pantang, near Madina.
The celebration which would be held on Sunday, May 31, is on the theme: 'Children are Glorious to God.'
It is aimed at training the children how to read the Bible, preach the Gospel and also to lead the congregation to sing praises.
Prophet Okyere, who is also the Founder of the church, said children are the assets of the Lord and that everything possible must be done to support them.
'If you are fired up in the spirit, you would not be corrupted and you would not lead an immoral life,' he said.
The President urged the children to also be law-abiding and respectful to their parents at all times.
