Accra, May 2, GNA - The La-Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly, on Saturday embarked on the 6th National Sanitation Day (NSD), which attracted market women, food hawkers and students from the University of Professional Studies (UPSA).
Mr Joseph Quarcoo, Municipal Head of the Municipal Health Unit toured some of the action areas such as Maye-Hot, Estates, Saint Andrews Cluster of Schools, UPSA, Madina Zongo, Ritz-Junction, Accra College of Education and the Madina Central Market, where people were seen busily desilting choked gutters and clearing their surroundings of filth.

Co-ordinating Director of the Assembly were also part of the NSD.
Staff of Zoom Alliance and some students from Pantang Hospital also partook in the exercise.
