Diaso (C/R), April 27, GNA - The people of Upper Denkyira West District in the Central Region, have expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the number of developmental projects being undertaken in the District.
They said government has put in place all the necessary measures to ensure that the new District stands on its feet to give the people hope and assurance.
Mr Ambrose Amoah Ashyiah, the District Chief Executive expressed the appreciation on behalf the people when the Regional Communication team paid a courtesy call on him as members went round to inspect developmental projects.
He said due to accommodation and the bad nature of the roads, many civil servants who were posted to the District did not prolong their stay.
Mr Ashyiah said as part of measures to solve the accommodation deficit, government has constructed a three- unit staff bungalow and a worker's flat is underway.
He commended the chiefs and elders for releasing lands for the projects.
The communication team inspected work on the construction of a community senior high school, which is inspected to be completed in March next year.
