I Want To Die, Ada Threatens Suicide

The controversial YFm presenter, Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka aka Princess Ada, after self-incriminating herself by staging her own kidnapping and gang-raping, appears to be fed up, allegedly nursing the intention to end it all.

Princess Ada, the radio diva, is reported to have pleaded with her mother to allow her to commit suicide.

Information gathered by DAILY GUIDE at the Police Hospital in Accra indicates that the suspect, who may be charged for deceit of public officer, is constantly pleading with the parents to leave her to kill herself to end it all - apparently because of the humiliation the act had brought on her.

In view of this, doctors attending to her at the facility, according to police sources, had warned family members not to bring any implement that could aid her in committing the act.

Checks indicate that heavy armed police men are still guarding the suspect, who is under arrest on her hospital bed.

Reports from the police reveal that Princess Ada has since not been able to give the police her statement, even though investigators in-charge of the case always visited the health facility to see if she could give her own statement to aid them in their investigations.

A police source told DAILY GUIDE that the police would patiently wait until the day she will get well and able to give her statement.

Deaf And Dumb
'Anytime police investigators get to the hospital to take her statement, Princess Ada goes deaf and dumb,' the source revealed.

Ada and four other people reportedly staged the rape and kidnapping episode at a hotel at Abossey Okai in Accra as disclosed by the police and corroborated by the hotel owner in a later interview with DAILY GUIDE.

An 18-year-old painter, Nelson William, who was arrested by the police as an accomplice in the gang-rape scandal, is helping the police in their investigations, claiming that he was only carrying out the wish of Ada.

Nelson, also known as Iddrisu, was seen in the photographs circulated on social media on top of Ada, supposedly raping her, but claims that he did not penetrate the lady and that it was part of the act as allegedly suggested by Ada, who appears in the act stark naked with dangling breasts. He said they did not charge her.

It would be recalled that the YFm presenter, who enjoys a lot of listenership because of the versatility with which she handles her programme on air, was reportedly kidnapped for about five days. Ada has been in the news for some time now after news of her alleged kidnapping broke on Monday, April 13, 2015 followed by pictures of her being sexually assaulted under the guise of being gang-raped.

She mysteriously surfaced last Tuesday claiming that she was gang-raped by five boys after the pornographic pictures were seen circulating on the social media.

This created uproar leading to the police launching a full-scale investigation, in the course of which Nelson was arrested.

ASP Effia Tengey, Accra Regional Police Public Relations Officer, told journalists last week that Nelson said the act was staged by five persons including Ada herself, another lady friend of hers and two other young men in a hotel near Abossey Okai in Accra.

Giving reasons for the action, Nelson is said to have told the police that Adaeze, being a friend of the five, approached them that the boyfriend had jilted her and so she wanted to portray a scene for the boyfriend to believe that his new girlfriend was behind the supposed abduction.

'They then went to the hotel, staged the act and took pictures of the scene, after which they posted them on the social media,' ASP Tengey said.

Addressing a press conference in Accra, ASP Tengey said Nelson, currently in police custody, told them that when Rahman Nunoo, Ada's boyfriend, saw the pictures, he would feel pity for her and would accuse the new girlfriend (name withheld) as the mastermind of the kidnap and rape saga.

Hotel Owner
I.J. Frimpong, the owner of Joeregi Hotel where the scene was acted,told DAILY GUIDE why he rented the hotel room to Ada and her gang.

He narrated that early Monday morning, April 13, 2015, Ada, three young men and another lady came to book a room for half day.

'Initially, I refused to rent the room out to them because per Ghana tourism laws, five people are not allowed to sleep in one hotel room. But they told me that they just needed the place to act a movie and that was even the main reason why they just wanted it for half day. So I booked Room One for them,' Frimpong said.

Knife
A few hours later, he said he saw one of the three boys holding a knife and he asked him where he was taking it to.

'The man told me that they wanted to use it in acting the movie but I did not allow him to enter the room with it.

'Immediately, I took the knife from him and told him that if they wanted to use a knife then they should come outside and do it,' he said.

According to him, at about 11:30 am, Ada and her four friends came out of the room and one of them told him that they were done with their movie so they were leaving. They reportedly took a taxi and left.
