16.04.2015 LISTEN

In his new spoken word "Kill the king", J.Y. Frimpong plays a king whose life is in danger. Kill the King is a spoken word which speaks about a king who is running for his life because there is a revolution which seeks to kill him.

The spoken word opens with the lines "To kill a king / upon his throne / and leave him naked without a robe / is the passion the people had grown.

As the poem continues, it gets enchanting, hunting and Gothic. At the end of the day, the king fails and surrenders himself to be killed.
