Religion is man searching for God through ordinances, rules of worship and sacrifices. The Kingdom, is God finding man at the point of his weakness. Religion teaches that worship must be in a particular “style”, refers to slow songs as “worship songs” and fast-tempo types as “praise songs”. In the Kingdom, worship emphasizes the glory and majesty of the King and de-emphasizes the isms of the worshiper. Religion teaches you that you enter “His presence” when you come to church. In the Kingdom, God's Spirit resides in you and so “His presence” is within you and around you. In the Kingdom, you don't “enter” his presence, you stay aware of his ever abiding presence. In religion, you pray to your God to intervene in matters of controversy, physical or spiritual; poverty, demonic attacks, marital stagnation etc. In the Kingdom, you exercise authority in the name of Jesus and command change. Religion teaches that paying 10% of your income or sowing seeds would cause your God to release abundance into your fold and rebuke the canker worms and the Palmer worms and all types of money-eating worms. In the Kingdom, you DO all that the King has commanded, including giving a tenth but not neglecting sanctification, then you can ask God in the name of His Christ, for anything, including financial breakthrough, “and shall be given to you.”. Religion relish debates about who is real and who is mythical; Jesus, Horus, Muhammad, Krishna Buddha or Mithra. In the Kingdom, the name of the King, from the lips of the obedient Son, settles every controversy – the deaf speaks, the lame walks, cancer disappears, neurological disorders are corrected, addictions are broken and demon spirits beg to be spared. In religion, there are labels like Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism, Communism, Atheism, Agnosticism, this-ism, that-ism. In the Kingdom, there is only one status; Son of God. Religion teaches you, “read the scriptures and worship on certain days”. In the Kingdom, you worship neither on “this mountain” nor in Jerusalem, but in Truth and in Spirit. So the Swordsman, becomes one with his Sword (The Word), the soldier becomes one with his weapon (The Word) and the craftsman becomes one with his craft (The Word). The Savior abides in the saved and the saved in the Savior. In religion, prayer means talk, talk, talk and talk again till your God listens. In the kingdom, prayer means communicate with a loving Father, all the while being sensitive to His response through his Word and by the prodding of His Holy Spirit in you. Religion teaches fear of darkness, demons and that old dragon who was cast down. In the kingdom, superiority of Light over darkness is common to the citizens as air is to the body. In religion, the preacher tells the congregation, “Pray over that money before you give it to that poor old beggar sitting by the road side, begging for alms. Perhaps he may be a demon/witch sent to steal your wealth”. In the kingdom, perfect love cast out fear. Compassion is without reservation because the First and the Last, the Living One and the eternal High Priest, has the keys to Death and Hades. For this reason, no weapon formed against any Kingdom citizen prospers. Religion mixes the “yeast of the Pharisees” with the dough of good doctrine, thereby contaminating the bread from Heaven. In the Kingdom, the only meal of “unleavened bread” is the flesh and blood of the King (Redemption and Sanctification). In religion, there is church membership. In the kingdom, there are only sons. Religion would defend denominations but let “Christ defend himself”, for “vengeance is mine” saith the Lord, religion says. In the Kingdom, love for neighbor and affirmation of their worth and common humanity is the defense of Christ's name. In religion, the epistles of the apostles; Peter, John, Mathew, Paul, are worthy subjects for intellectual discourse and theological pontification. In the kingdom, they are living manuals for doctrinal instruction and civil behavior, a bill of rights and obligations for God's children. Religion accuses but the Kingdom embraces whosoever wills. Religion calls the sinner guilty but in the Kingdom he is worthy.

In the kingdom, the lord shall supply all your needs according to His riches and glory, so neither lender nor a borrower be. In religion, it is alright to borrow to finance a depreciable asset and even call it God's favor. To the preacher, who is able to whip up emotional frenzy, with flamboyant sermons, positive exhortations and long showy prayers, to him be the glory, through bill boards, TV Commercials and mega conferences, according to religion. In the kingdom, to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or can imagine, to Him be glory in the church and in Jesus Christ, forever and ever.

Reflections
Many who love God, would come to Jesus Christ if only the children of the kingdom would rise and take their place to show forth the love and power of Christ over sin and death through the Holy Spirit. The problem is they hate religion. Well, so does Christ. He hates the yeast of the Pharisees, the practices of the Nicolaitans, the pretensions of the epicureans and the falsity of worldly philosophy. Christ brought the kingdom to man, so that man would bask in the domain of the King, free from the tyranny of sin and death. He did not bring religion. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the GOVERNMENT shall be on his shoulder.” Isaiah 9:6. Which government? The government of Heaven, the kingdom of God. Not the religion of ecumenical councils and papal apostates.

Stop the religious nonsense, Mr. Christian, and show the power of God through the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus. On that day of the Lord, the only proof of allegiance would be mark of the beast (Revelation 14:9-10) or the seal of God (Ephesians 4:30). You would have one or the other. The choice is here and the time is now. Serve Jesus well and worship God in Truth and in Spirit. May God guide you in your faith walk.
