The Founder and President of the Blood and Genotype Awareness Foundation-Ghana and Chief Executive Officer of the Holy Covenant Health Center, Dr. Brown Osei Konadu has been conferred upon, a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Christian Clinical Psychology and Therapist.

The Great Achievers University College & Theological Seminary (GAUCTS) based in Spain, is an affiliate Campus of Team Impact Christian University U.S. The administrative board of GAUCTS is unshakably determined to help elevate Africans and other people globally, professionally and spiritually for their contributions to economic, social, religious and political growth of their nations and that of others.

Thereto, the Great Achievers University College & Theological Seminary awards Dr. Brown Osei Konadu the doctorate degree “For his total commitment to the growth of Business Development and Service to Humanity with Rights and Privileges Appertaining”.

Dr. Osei owns and works at the Holy Covenant Health Center in Kumasi-Bomso, which is a Physiotherapy and naturopathy outfit providing a wide range of invaluable services to people in physical fitness/gym, preventive measures, treatment of cardiopulmonary conditions, weight loss/gain management, stress management, beauty therapy, sex therapy and several other treatment options.

The God-centered (natural) ways of preventing and treating diseases and other conditions attracts many people from within and outside Ghana to the center for their wellness. According to Dr Brown Osei, “I do not do any radio or television advertisement but people troop in day in, day out and after they have realized positive results, tell others about it…people prefer natural treatment to the conventional approach because as you know, human knowledge cannot compete that of his creator, God”.

He is the Founder and President of the Blood and Genotype Awareness Foundation-Ghana(BGAFG), a group of health workers and non-health workers who are dedicated to ensuring that the general public get to know their Blood Groups and Genotype by the end of the year 2015.And the group has been pursuing this agenda through massive public education programmes.

The Doctor Osei Konadu-led BGAFG has so far visited over five hundred communities and religious organizations, teaching their audience the need to know their Blood Groups, Genotype and how all can help reduce the incidence of Sickle Cell patients in the world.

The Great Achievers University College & Theological Seminary (GAUCTS) awardee has explained that the Foundation's aim is to create a health conscious society in which the people will admit that most of diseases that come their way are from the wrong handling of their blood. That one can only handle his or her blood healthily when they are aware of the kind of blood they have and the characteristics of such bloods.

For Dr. Brown Osei Konadu, people are supposed to eat and drink according to their blood types, and that in choosing partners for marriage, the genotype of the prospective couples should be critically ascertained in order to eschew giving birth to children with conditions such as Sickle Cell. He cited that people should know the major groups of Genotype and their corresponding sickle cell relationships. For example AA(Normal), AS(Carrier), SS(Sickler) etc.

Speaking to pressmen on the award, Dr. Brown Osei Konadu said he had received several awards from various organizations, locally and foreign including the 2009 West Africa's best Physiotherapist award and in 2013,the “Nkyinkyim award in Health Care”. He expressed much joy over such a huge reward from GAUCTS, which he had never dreamt of and that he was thankful to the Great Achievers University College & Theological Seminary (GAUCTS) for acknowledging true hard work.

He seized the opportunity to advice his fellow health workers in Ghana to see their work as for humanity and not solely for money. That receiving a PhD degree from such a reputable University tells him that the effects of his work do not only rest in Ghana but travels across the globe. He has therefore pledged to work harder to save more lives but has appealed to donors to support the Know Your Blood Group, Genotype and the Sickle Cell Outreach programmes.
