Ashanti Regional Minister Commends MCE Yamoah Ponkoh

Juaben (Ash)-Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Ashanti Regional Minister has commended the Ejisu Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, Kwaku Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, for championing the better Ghana agenda of the NDC government by improving the living condition of people in the Ejisu Juaben Municipality in the Ashanti Region.

Dr Sarpong made this commendation at Juaben when he embarked on a working tour at the municipality recently.

He expressed his happiness about the high level of commitment and dedication the MCE has been exhibited since assumption of office in promoting better Ghana agenda of President John Mahama.

He also commended the assembly members for supporting the MCE for embarking on number of developmental projects in the area.

The regional minister used the visit to commission number of projects in the Municipality and they were included an Accident and Emergency Center at Juaben Government Hospital ,Clinic at Amoam-Achiase and Sanitation Villages Korkobra, Ejisu Zongo and Ejisu Krapah respectively.

Dr. Sarpong , explained that though the projects might not put money into the wallets of people directly, it would go a long way to improve their health conditions which would enable them to work effectively to earn a living.

He entreated other DCEs/MCEs in the region to emulate the good works of the Ejisu Juaben MCE.
