Preparing A Great Deceit  

Congress is gearing up for a 2016 great deception. Signals abound of their secretly contrived mother of all deceits. They who steal to deceive are poisonously spinning their little achievement to cover up their thievery. They are exaggerating to hide what should have been achieved with the billions of dollar, euro, pound sterling and cedi tax revenue and contracted loans.

Congresspeople strongly believe us all but them of the motherland are of short memory and have accordingly forgotten their evil stealing dealings since January 7, 2009. They are easily hatching make-believe all rosy picture. Small doings, including presidential commissioning of petty school projects, are flaunted in their usual do-little must be made to look done-great.

My compatriots, even if your memory is short, our traumatic dumso experiences since 2009 cannot make you forget that all motherland money available before 2010 was diverted into personal enrichment and 2016 election war chest via ostensible judgment debt payments.

Oil money since 2010; no one is telling us where it went. Recently, they said $90 million of it went to GNPC but those there say they can't trace it. From the motherland's vault, they said $600million had vamoosed. So it is true oil is a curse. If it weren't, Desooso's dwarfs would not be spiriting its proceeds away just like that.

Since 2009, they have contracted loans for pampers, khebab, sanitary pad, chalk, school feeding, metro mass transport, LEAP, NHIS, everything we used to fund from taxes. 'NPP borrowed 5.5bn in eight years.' Projects executed from NPP loans include Pantang-Mamfe and Tema-Aflao roads, the gang of four, Tetteh Quarshie Interchange, MMT, school feeding, LEAP, NHIS, capitation grant and others. 'NDC has borrowed 27bn' (and still counting) in six years with little to show. Our total debt equals $2,750 per, woman, man and child born and unborn.

So much rise in fuel (petrol, diesel, gas, premix) prices. Utility (electricity and water) bills have gone right through the roof. Road tolling points have multiplied at least fivefold and tolls have been increased over one thousand per cent.

Duties on imported goods, always charged in dollars even after the cedi destruction, have been raised phenomenally. All such monies accruing add up to others raised in the different ways described earlier. So, there has been money.

When they were yelling no money in the kitty in 2009, it was a deceitful plan to steal what there was. They were stealing using judgment debt as conduit. The dreadful thing is that they wouldn't spare even the most vulnerable, whose schooling they halted by failing to remit their small statutory grants needed by the institutions for children with disability for training those unfortunate compatriots.

Over this same post-2009 period, the motherland has experienced unprecedented high income from its traditional exports, cocoa and gold, whose prices appreciated monumentally.

Adenta water was flowing until January 7, 2009 after which congress tankers caused the disappearance of normal supply. In curiosity I had inquired from a water tanker driver about his changed vehicle. The response on the ownership pointed in the direction of the presidential quarters.

Congresspeople have been making money from the misery of us without water by blocking us all from whatever little source so that they would monopolise it and sell it to us at their price, hoping by 2016 there will be water flowing to mask their theft.

They are counting on Atuabo gas to make us forget the 2009-2015 dumso by 2016. I won't say fallacy; I only pray my compatriots would never accept any 'goat is sheep' and 'black is white' campaign lies.

I am so encouraged by the emergence of OccupyGhana. If they would cooperate with AFAG and all of us who despise the wanton congresspeople corruption of themselves and state institutions, it would be possible to throw them out. I also want to believe the anticorruption front is preparing seriously for an anti-election rigging exercise in 2016.

Cedi's somersaulting tumble is a result of create by punching a huge hole in the motherland kitty, loot whatever is there and share to yourself, family and congress kind. If in 2012 they could stuff GH¢50 bills into matchboxes, in 2016, they have stolen so much they would be able to raise that to GH¢200 to deceive and bribe.

Personal wealth congresspeople have amassed. Election 2016 war chest they have built. It is for the rest of us deprived to work harder than ever to throw them out in 2016 if we ever hope to get anywhere as compatriots of a once proud motherland. To restore the motherland's pride, the thieving congresspeople must be thrown out: umbrella, mediocrity, deceit, thievery and all. They are busily preparing the grounds to deceive you big time. Please don't let them succeed with a great deceit.
