The world is full of strange things and the airwave is not different. I went to bed on Sunday night on the 8th November, 2014, thanking God, for my life, families, friends, church members, pastors and all those who have contributed one way or the other to make me who I am. I then went onto YouTube, to listen to one of my favourite teachers, inspirational and motivational speakers of the word of God, Dr. Myles Munroe, without knowing that he was on his way to eternity on the Monday (09th November, 2014).

Dr. Myles Munroe, among many other great men of God this generation have had, was a great teacher of the word, an inspirational and a great leader to many across the globe. I have no doubt in my mind that, many lives have been transformed through his teaching, preaching, and leadership, especially through his books and videos.

I have known and heard of Dr. Myles Munroe during my secondary school days in Ghana and since then, I have listened to his teaching on purpose, leadership, goals and vision. One of Dr. Munroe teachings that changed my life completely and set me up for the world was the message on 'THE POWER OF VISION AND THE PRINCIPLES AND POWER OF VISION' in fact; my life has never remained the same.

Oh! What a great man of God? You gave and emptied yourself to this world and now you have passed on the 'BATON.' What a life and what a legacy?

You were indeed a great man, full of wisdom, understanding, purpose, vision and insights in the things you teach and preach about. Not many leaders have attained this iconic status you have achieved with honesty and integrity. You have indeed emptied your life. You said in one of your last interview with Jeff Koinange, in Kanya, that, THERE IS THE NEED FOR THE GRAVE YARD TO BE ROBBED' by us using all the potentials and gifts we have within us before we leave this planet earth. This truly summarises your departure and who are we to question your maker and the giver of life? He gave you the life and He decided to take it whenever He wants.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.” (Isaiah55:8).

In your recent book, 'PASSING IT ON', you expressed the importance of leaders learning to pass on their leadership skills and knowledge without fear. What amazes me the most is the fact that, you mentioned in that very book the need for fathers, coming to the point of raising others leaders and releasing them to step into their place before it's too late for this generation. This is very profound and I must applaud you for your stand and unwavering thoughts. I strongly believe that, this world will be a better place for us only if we can learn to pass on the baton to the younger leaders we raise or are raising as leaders without feeling intimidated and without insecurity.

Well done sir. You have done your best to raise other great and upcoming leaders like myself and now, you have responded to a roll-call from eternity.

"You have fought a good fight, you have finished your course, and you have kept the faith"

You have changed and turned some many others including myself, into motivational and inspirational writers/authors. What a Life, Death and Lost?

Many words cannot express how much we are going to miss you, but one thing I know is that, your teaching and pure words still live on to console us. Well done! May you and your wife continue to rest together in Heaven.

Thank you for being such a selfless individual, great leader, teacher, motivational and inspirational speaker to me. You have set the pace, charted the course, blazed path and gave your best all to change and transform human lives and now, the ball is in our court.

You have taught me to understand that, life is too short to muddle with irrelevant things. The only way to live a fulfilled life is to learn to focus on my assignment on earth and do my best to make this place a better place. I have also learnt that, one day, there is going to be a roll-call and I must be ready and be like the solider on a mission to respond to the master's call. Thank you for your life! May your soul rest in peace with the giver of life, who has called you and your wife together into eternity.

The world will continue to celebrate your impact and influence.
