Stop Idolizing Men Of God

The General Overseer of the Conquerors Redemption Ministry International (CRMI), Apostle Richard Akwasi Dwumfour, has charged Ghanaians to stop idolizing Religious Leaders and other public figures, striving to bring them to the status of God.

He retreated that, this is an abominable act, and that God has clearlycommanded us in Exodus 20:4to desist from such acts.

In an interview he mentioned that most congregants always try to elevatethe Men of God, to a miniature “god Status'due to the various miracles and testimonies that God is using them to do, while some Men of God are also lavishing in such Abominable Glory.

We are just clay in the Hands of the potter who is the Almighty God, and so he chooses to do with us what is so wish.

Apostle Dwumfourwas speaking in an interview ahead of the churches preparation to celebrate its 12th Annual Harvest to be held at the church's Auditorium at Achimota Neoplan behind the collapsed Melcom Building from Tuesday, December 2 to Friday 5thDecember 2014, 6:30 pm Each Night. While Sunday, 7 December 2014,will be the Thanksgiving Day from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

This Year's Celebration will be under the Theme:
“Worship in His Presence” and it will feature renowned Gospel Diva; Esther Opiesie, Redemption Echoes among others.

Apostle Dwumfour explained that the Theme for the Celebration was meant to draw People closer to Yahweh's Throne of Grace,

as the flood Gates of Heaven will always open once we lift up a sacrifice of Holy Worship. He added that the programe is free and it's opened to all, irrespective of your religious denomination.
