Two months ago, officials of the Teachers' Fund reported at the station that about 30 teachers had forged their pay slips to access loans from the Fund.

He said most of the teachers had either increased their net salaries or deleted some commitments which make them not eligible to access the fund.

Police investigations led to the arrest of the 14 teachers suspected to be involved in the crime.

In their caution statements, the 14 mentioned the three ICT personnel as their accomplices who supported them in doctoring their E-Pay Slip to access the loans.

The three, according to the arrested teachers, charged a fee ranging from GH₵100 to GH₵200, depending on the amount suspects were requesting for.

All of them admitted to the offence and have since been charged with conspiracy, abetment, forgery and stealing.

They will appear before court today for prosecution.
